Zeus, RIP 07/92-07/04, You were a friend, a pal and a protector. At six months you came into my life and I remember that day like it was yesterday. You were always there for me when I called upon you. You were my partner in the field for many years and stood by and protected me. Later in life you protected me & my family here at home. It seems the last 9 years have gone by so quick.
I knew one day you would leave me but I thought today would never come. I wanted you to stay and told you we would go to surgery even if the odds were not in our favor. You looked at me with those big brown eyes with the look of love and I knew you wanted to fight and stay alive. Shortly before surgery you left for a better place. Zeus you were a great dog and I will never forget you. I will take you home where you will rest in peace and stay with me forever. Love you always and forever " be the peppies Zeus" Mark..

Having my first working dog pass away was harder than I thought. Zeus passed away on Monday July 26, 2004 at 10:15 am. He was layed to rest the following day Tuesday July 27, 2004 and he appeared sound asleep and very peaceful. Taking on the task of laying him to rest was a lot of work but very rewarding. I would recommend this to anyone who loses a beloved pet. I have ordered a small headstone that will be placed on the ground once it arrives. I want to thank my Veternarian Edward Ancu, my family members for their help and support.
